Who are we?

My name is Ferran Crespo, and that’s right!! I’m from Spain. I’ve lived in New Zealand for eight years now and have realised that good Mediterranean cuisine is also welcome in the South Pacific!! So I’m here to cater for this need.

I want to offer you the most traditional of all my country’s dishes, the Paella, made in real Spanish style with all the best ingredients, for you to enjoy at home, at your events or even in your local market! Good food anywhere and at any time!

I am based in Hamilton, but am willing to travel. Auckland. Taranaki, nothing is too far. Just tell me what you want in your paella and I’ll set about giving it that real Spanish and Mediterranean flavour!! And if you want some finger food to go with it, I’ll organise the most succulent of ‘Tapas’ to whet your appetite while the paella is on the way. You ask, and I’ll serve…

How does Paella Catering work?

We get there two hours before to set up and cook. The Tapas are ready to eat and can be served while the Paella is cooking. Food is served straight from the pan, easy and convenient. At the end we clean, pack up and go.

What do we need?

All we need is around 2 m2 for our Paella gas burners. You don’t have to provide anything, we bring it all and can cook at the event itself: house, backyard, club, batch, farm, beach, boat…. you decide.
